Pathology Lab Services
Our diagnostic center features a fully automated Pathology Lab. We analyze blood, fluid, and tissue samples using advanced medical technology to provide highly precise and reliable results. These tests are essential for early disease detection, accurate diagnosis, and ongoing health monitoring.
CBC (Complete Blood Count)
Requires a routine blood sample from a vein. It measures Hemoglobin, White Blood Cells, Red Blood Cells, and Platelets to check for anemia, infections, or bleeding issues.
ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate)
Requires a routine blood sample. It measures how fast red blood cells settle to detect hidden inflammation or long-term infections in the body.
Blood Grouping & Rh Typing
Requires a quick blood sample. It determines your specific blood group type (A, B, AB, or O) and whether it is Positive or Negative.
Peripheral Blood Smear (PBS)
A drop of blood is spread on a glass slide and examined under a microscope. It looks closely at the shape and size of blood cells to diagnose malaria or severe blood disorders.
FBS (Fasting Blood Sugar)
Requires a blood sample taken in the morning after a strict 8 to 10 hours of overnight fasting. It measures baseline glucose levels.
PPBS (Post Prandial Blood Sugar)
Requires a blood sample taken exactly 2 hours after the patient finishes a meal. It checks how well the body manages sugar after eating.
RBS (Random Blood Sugar)
Requires a blood sample that can be taken at any time of the day without fasting. It helps detect sudden high or low blood sugar emergencies.
HbA1c (Glycated Hemoglobin)
Requires a routine blood sample with no fasting needed. It shows the average blood sugar control over the past 3 months.
Total Cholesterol
Requires a blood sample, preferably after 10 to 12 hours of fasting. It measures the total amount of fat circulating in your blood.
HDL Cholesterol
Requires a fasting blood sample. Known as good cholesterol, it helps clear bad fats from your blood vessels.
LDL Cholesterol
Requires a fasting blood sample. Known as bad cholesterol, high levels can build up in arteries and cause heart issues.
Triglycerides
Requires a fasting blood sample. It measures the most common type of fat stored in the body from extra food calories.
VLDL Cholesterol
Calculated from your triglyceride levels. It is another type of bad cholesterol that contributes to plaque buildup in blood vessels.
Serum Bilirubin (Total, Direct, Indirect)
Requires a blood sample. It checks for bile pigments to diagnose Jaundice and evaluate how well the liver filters waste.
SGPT / ALT
Requires a blood sample. This is a specific liver enzyme that rises rapidly during liver injury, alcohol damage, or viral infections.
SGOT / AST
Requires a blood sample. This enzyme is found in the liver and heart, and its elevation points to cell damage in those organs.
Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP)
Requires a blood sample. It helps detect blockages in the liver bile ducts or underlying bone disorders.
Total Protein, Albumin & Globulin
Requires a blood sample. It measures the essential proteins made by the liver to check for nutrition levels and chronic liver diseases.
Serum Creatinine
Requires a blood sample. This is the most crucial test for kidney health, measuring how well the kidneys clear daily muscle waste.
Blood Urea / BUN
Requires a blood sample. It evaluates the level of nitrogen waste in the blood to see if the kidneys are filtering properly.
Uric Acid
Requires a blood sample. High levels can form crystals, leading to severe joint pain known as gout or causing kidney stones.
Serum Electrolytes
Requires a blood sample. It measures vital minerals like Sodium, Potassium, and Chloride to check body water balance and nerve function.
TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone)
Requires a routine blood sample. It is the primary test used to screen for an underactive or overactive thyroid gland.
Free T3 & Free T4
Requires a blood sample. It measures the actual active thyroid hormones in the blood to confirm deeper thyroid issues.
Vitamin D3 (25-Hydroxy)
Requires a blood sample. It checks for deficiencies that cause weak bones, body pain, or low body immunity.
Vitamin B12
Requires a blood sample. It is essential to check for nerve health, brain function, and proper red blood cell production.
Serum Calcium
Requires a blood sample. It measures the calcium levels circulating in the blood to monitor bone health and parathyroid function.
Iron Profile
Requires a fasting blood sample. It tests Serum Iron, Ferritin, and TIBC to find the exact cause of iron-deficiency anemia.
CRP (C-Reactive Protein)
Requires a blood sample. It is a quick marker that rises rapidly during sudden bacterial infections or acute body inflammation.
RA Factor (Rheumatoid Factor)
Requires a blood sample. It checks for autoantibodies to help diagnose rheumatoid arthritis and chronic joint pain.
Widal Test / Typhidot
Requires a blood sample. It identifies antibodies against Salmonella bacteria to confirm a Typhoid fever diagnosis.
Dengue NS1 / IgM / IgG
Requires a blood sample. It detects early antigens or later antibodies to confirm a Dengue virus infection.
Malaria Antigen (Mp Ag)
Requires a rapid blood sample. It quickly detects specific proteins released by malaria parasites in the blood.
